Hi, I'm Nissa

Helping sensitive women come out of survival mode and rebuild trust with their body

Welcome to Nutritionally Nissa!

I’m Nissa — a UK-trained Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath, and trauma-informed Wellbeing Coach specialising in histamine intolerance and chronic gut health.

I support sensitive women experiencing histamine intolerance, digestive symptoms, food sensitivities, and stress-related imbalances—especially those who feel overwhelmed, reactive, and out of balance in their bodies.

Many of the women I work with are deep feelers—intuitive, caring women who’ve spent years trying to “do everything right,” yet still don’t feel well.

I’m on a mission to help women reconnect with their bodies, rebuild trust, and feel calm, energised, and supported again.

Like many of the women I work with, I know what it feels like to do everything “right” but still struggle with bloating, fatigue, anxiety, and food reactions.

That’s why I take a holistic, root-cause approach to healing that goes beyond food alone—because your body, mind, and emotions are all connected.

My approach is different from traditional nutrition plans.

I combine nervous system support, personalised nutrition, and lifestyle healing to help your body feel safe enough to respond and heal.

Through this work, my clients begin to:

  • enjoy food without fear
  • calm their reactions
  • rebuild energy
  • and feel confident and at ease in their bodies again

Healing isn’t just about symptom relief—it’s about freedom, confidence, and feeling like yourself again.

My Story and Why I am so passionate to help others transform their health

🌿 My Journey

My journey into the world of natural health began in my early twenties, during a time when my mental health took a downward turn. I experienced significant weight gain and was later diagnosed with IBS. While medications offered some relief, they came with unpleasant side effects — leaving me feeling frustrated and disconnected from my body.

Driven by a desire to heal naturally, I began exploring how changes to my diet and lifestyle could support my physical and emotional well-being. To my surprise, these shifts not only improved my digestion and energy, but also gave me a renewed sense of clarity, confidence, and connection to myself.
That transformation lit a fire in me — and I knew I wanted to help other women find their way back to health, confidence, and joy.

I went on to train as a Nutritional Therapist, with the goal of supporting women who feel stuck, depleted, or disconnected from themselves — and help them reclaim their health and vitality.

More recently, my personal healing deepened again when I developed histamine intolerance and experienced a flare-up of IBS. This chapter of my journey taught me even more about the impact of stress, emotional health, and the nervous system on digestion and immune responses.

Why I Specialise in Histamine Intolerance

Through this experience, I discovered powerful tools to support both the body and mind, and I’m now passionate about sharing this knowledge to help other women break free from the cycle of confusion and chronic symptoms.

Many of the women I see are misdiagnosed with IBS, anxiety, or hormonal issues — when histamine intolerance is the missing link. Through years of research, client experience, and my own recovery, I’ve developed a framework that supports both the body and mind — addressing the deeper roots of histamine reactivity, rather than simply avoiding foods.

Today, my work is about helping sensitive women understand their unique physiology — not as something to fix, but to honour. When you learn to listen to your body instead of fight against it, healing becomes gentler, deeper, and more sustainable

💛 My Approach

I know how overwhelming it can feel to live in fear of food — not knowing what will trigger bloating, fatigue, digestive discomfort, or histamine reactions. My goal is to make healing simpler, sustainable, and empowering.

My approach combines nervous system support, personalised nutrition, and lifestyle healing—so your body feels safe enough to respond and heal.

I don’t believe in restrictive or one-size-fits-all plans. Instead, I help you understand your body, reduce reactions, and build a way of eating and living that feels supportive and sustainable.

My aim is to help you understand your body, feel safe in your choices, and implement changes that last. I want you to feel nourished, confident, and free, building a joyful relationship with food and your body.

I believe healing is a lifelong journey, and when equipped with the right tools and guidance, especially those that support gut health, histamine balance, and stress regulation, women can show up fully in life — with energy, clarity, and ease.
