If you`re no longer able to do the things you used to due to lack of energy or health conditions remember self care and exercise doesn`t need to be intense.
Sometimes a few minutes of fresh air, gentle movement, rest, nourishment can help regain your energy .
Most importantly listening to your body and what it`s telling you.
Food feeling confusing?
My low-histamine recipe book is a gentle place to start
If food feels confusing right now, you’re not alone.
Many women with suspected histamine intolerance find themselves trying to work out what is “safe,” what is triggering symptoms, and why they can tolerate a food one day but react another day.
Low-histamine eating can be a helpful starting point when your body feels reactive — but it should not become another source of stress or fear.
That’s why I created my low-histamine recipe book: to give you simple, calming meal ideas while you begin to understand your own patterns.
Inside, you’ll find gentle recipes designed to help eating feel a little easier when symptoms feel unpredictable.
Food is not always the whole story — stress, gut health, sleep, hormones and nervous system load can all matter too — but having a few supportive meal ideas can be a really reassuring first step.

Histamine intolerance isn’t always just about the food you eat.
Food can absolutely matter — especially when your body feels reactive and you’re trying to calm symptoms.
But if you’re still reacting, still confused, or feeling like your “safe foods” list is getting smaller and smaller, it may be time to look at the bigger picture.
Your symptoms may also be influenced by:
• stress and nervous system load
• gut health and inflammation
• gut motility and constipation
• poor sleep and burnout
• hormones and cycle changes
This is why you might tolerate a food one day and react to it another day.
It’s not always about the last thing you ate. Sometimes it’s about what has been adding to your overall load.
The goal isn’t to restrict more and more foods forever.
The goal is to understand your body, support your gut and nervous system, and gently rebuild tolerance where possible.
I’ve written more about this in my latest blog:
Histamine Intolerance, Stress & Gut Health: Why Food Isn’t the Whole Story

Histamine Intolerance, Stress & Gut Health: Why Food Isn’t the Whole Story
If you’ve been trying to manage histamine intolerance by focusing only on food — but you’re still reacting, still confused, or still feeling restricted — this one is for you.
Food can absolutely matter.
But symptoms can also be influenced by stress, sleep, gut health, constipation, hormones, environmental triggers and nervous system load.
This is why you might tolerate a food one day and react to it another day.
It is not always about the last thing you ate. Sometimes it is about what has been filling your system’s overall load.
In the blog, I talk about:
• why histamine symptoms can feel unpredictable
• why food lists are only one part of the picture
• the stress–histamine connection
• why gut health and constipation matter
• why restriction is not the long-term answer
• how my Calm & Nourish approach supports the whole person

Most women I work with have been told to:
→ cut more foods
→ take antihistamines
→ “just manage symptoms”
But histamine isn’t the root problem.
It’s a signal that your system is overwhelmed.
When your body is: – stressed
– inflamed
– unsupported
It becomes more reactive.
✨ Your body isn’t broken
✨ It’s trying to protect you
The work isn’t about control…
It’s about support, safety, and regulation
If this resonates, you’re likely not dealing with “just food reactions” 💛
If you feel like your body is reacting to everything… you’re not imagining it.
Many of the women I work with feel stuck in a cycle of:
– food reactions
– bloating and discomfort
– anxiety and fatigue
And the natural response is to try and “fix” it—
by removing more foods or trying something new.
But often, the body isn’t just “sensitive”…
It’s overwhelmed.
When your system is constantly on edge,
it becomes more reactive—to food, stress, and your environment.
That’s why I take a different approach.
A gentle 3-step method to:
🌿 regulate the nervous system
🌿 support the gut and reduce reactions
🌿 restore energy and rebuild trust in your body
So instead of constantly managing symptoms,
your body can begin to feel safe and supported again.
If this resonates, I’ve created a simple recipe guide to help you get started 🤍
Or send me a message if you’d like support—I’m always happy to chat.

Hi, I’m Nissa 👋
I support sensitive women with histamine and gut symptoms who feel overwhelmed, reactive, and out of balance in their bodies.
Many of the women I work with have already tried diets, supplements, or protocols—but still feel stuck.
That’s because healing isn’t just about food.
When your body feels stressed or stuck in survival mode, it can stay reactive—no matter how “perfect” your diet is.
This is why my approach is different.
I focus on supporting your whole system—combining nervous system support, personalised nutrition, and lifestyle healing—so your body can actually feel calm, clear, and safe again.
If this resonates, you’re not alone 💛

Low histamine foods helped my symptoms…
but this made an even bigger difference.
For a long time, I focused only on what I was eating.
But I didn’t realise how much my body’s state was affecting my digestion.
When we’re stressed or rushing, the body isn’t in a place to properly digest food.
And for me, that made symptoms feel worse — even when I was eating “right”.
One simple thing that helped:
👉 taking a few slow breaths before meals
It helped my body shift out of stress mode and into a more relaxed state.
It sounds small, but over time it made a real difference.
💛 Save this to try before your next meal
