
When Symptoms Surge: The Moment My Body Demanded Surrender
Over the past few weeks, I’ve experienced a season that unexpectedly brought stress, overwhelm, after experiencing a new symptoms due to physical changes to my body. This brought a deep need to slow down and reconnect with my body. As someone who supports women with nervous system dysregulation, histamine intolerance, and chronic digestive issues, this experience reminded me — once again — that healing is not linear. Listening to our bodies, honouring our limits, and creating space for rest aren’t weaknesses; they’re essential parts of recovery and wellbeing.
